Manchester Arena attacks 2017
At 10:31PM on 22nd May 2017, an Ariana Grande concert as part of Ariana's Dangerous Woman Tour at the Manchester Arena ended. At the same time, a shrapnel homemade bomb went off in the foyer, killing 23 people (children and parents who came to collect some of the children) and the suicide
bomber in the process. Out of the remaining 14,200 attendees, 1,017 people were injured. Why did this happen? Well, Salman Abedi was upset with how
those in Muslim countries were having their homes bombed and wanted to show England how they would feel if they were in the affected countries.
Following a 2 week break Ariana Grande returned to touring and organised a benefit concert at Old Trafford to aid the bombing victims and the families
that were affected. The Dangerous Woman tour resumed in Paris, France and concluded on 21 September 2017 in Hong Kong. At the end of the music
video for Ariana's song No Tears Left to Cry, a worker bee (one of the symbols of Manchester) flies off screen.
