7/7 London Bombings
On 7 July 2005, the day after London won its bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games, four explosives detonated in the city by suicide bombers with three exploding in trains on the London Underground at 8:49AM and a fourth on a double decker bus at 9:47AM. 56 people (including the bombers who did it as part of Islamic terrorism, putting stress on many innocent Muslims in the UK) died that day and 784 people were injured. It took nearly a month (4th August 2005) for all of London's transport to be fully operational again with Circle Line reopening on that day. An attack that was planned on the 10th anniversary of the 7/7 attacks was stopped when the would be perpetrators were caught on social media asking their followers about a location for the bombs. The song Relax, Take it Easy was based on MIKA's experience of walking home scared from the attacks.
